The Ultra Thruster is a more powerful and longer lasting variant of the Thruster.
Obtaining[]
It can be purchased in the Shop for 250 ROBUX for 5 Ultra Thrusters. Two Ultra Thrusters can be collected from Medium Treasure #7 in the Toxic Waste Stage.
Former methods[]
The Ultra Thruster hatched from King Eggs from the 2019 Easter Egg event. Five Ultra Thrusters could have been obtained with the expired code 1M Members.
Appearance[]
It has a red foil texture on it instead of the bombastic Mega Thruster and plain, white Thruster.
Functionality[]
The Shop description claims that it has is 10 times the thrust power, 4 times the duration (40 seconds), and 2 times stronger than a Thruster (20 hitpoints, equal to Mega Thruster). The actual thrust power is 1.5x more than Thruster (2 Ultra Thrusters will cancel out the opposing thrust of 3 Thrusters).
The Ultra Thruster works until it runs out of fuel. Rapidly toggling the Thruster will cause its fuel to run out faster. When out of fuel, its black stripes (regardless of paint color) change to a vivid, bright red. Combined with its long duration and ability to be toggled and steered via the Pilot Seat, it can be used to reach the Treasure the fastest without using glitches.
Trivia[]
- The Ultra Thruster was the 2nd Egg that hatched during the 2019 Easter Egg event. Obtaining one King Egg was equivalent to saving 60 ROBUX in Ultra Thruster purchases during the event.
- The Ultra Thruster used to be the only thruster being able to be keybinded.
