"A mysterious block has appeared on your building plot. Transport the block to the end."— Quest description
The Box is a quest in Build A Boat For Treasure. Players must transport a Mystery Box to the Treasure. It must near the end to win, but does not need to land on the beach or touch the treasure. During this quest, the quest-spawned Mystery Box seemingly has infinite or extremely high health, but can fly away.
Effects[]
The Mystery Box can apply the following effects to surrounding blocks or players. It indicates its effect by turning a specific color prior to activating. These are:
- Green: Gives the player a zombie walk, and turns their avatar green with slower walk speed. In this state, the player can infect people, but only if the Mystery Box is still present.
- Blue: Produces a massive balloon that could carry a boat away if it is too light.
- Yellow: Converts the blocks on the boat into Gold.
- Brown: Converts the blocks on the boat into Wood.
- Orange: Enlarges the player(s) head
- White: Summons TNT from the sky to demolish a piece of the boat.
- Red: Sets the boat on fire.
- Black: Simulates a button press (i.e. activates balloons, thrusters, etc. near it)
Note that the player-owned Mystery Block received upon completion of the quest shares the same effects, but activates only if clicked first.
Tips[]
- As long as the player crosses over the beach (e.g. flying overhead), it counts as a completing the quest.
- Making a tough and durable boat would be enough, as long as it is in the middle with the Mystery Box.
- The player can build a strong boat before activating the quest, then save the boat and clear all blocks. The player can activate the quest, load the boat and quickly launch.
- Make sure the blocks for the boat are heavy, so it will not fly away when it spawns a balloon.
- By placing a Pine Tree on top of the boat, the player can usually move the spawned TNT away.
- Build a specialized boat to reach the end faster, such as a wheel, or using a flying glitch, or making a small helicopter.
- Another option is to connect the Mystery Box to multiple thrusters, then controlling it (either with a Pilot Seat or placing a chair in the player's head). Activating the thrusters, one can fly over all the stages.
