The Wreckage Stage is a hard difficulty Stage.
Secret Treasure[]
The stage was originally home to a Small Treasure.
That chest succeeded Old Secret Treasure Chest (#6), which could be found in a hole on the right side of the second trench, but no way to get out. Also, a giant rock could spawn above the hole and block the entrance, requiring a player to clear it to access the chest. Once the player got in, the player had to reset.
The hole has since been removed, replaced with a small platform in the second valley with the aforementioned Small Treasure, which was removed after the Secret Treasure revamp.

There are three trenches under the water that are filled with Giant Rocks. When boats pass on the surface, the water below the boat recedes, causing them to slide into the rocks. After a few seconds, the trench fills back up with water, allowing the boat to continue along the stage. This occurs for every trench, provided that the a boat is crossing the stage normally.
Using Boat Motors, building cars, or avoiding the stage altogether with Jet Turbines are the best ways to escape the water drainage. A car boat will be able to drive to the third area before the water recedes, and one with Huge Wheels or Cookie Wheels can make it completely past. Alternatively, if a boat is long enough (Boat Tier 10-11), it may get temporarily stuck in the gap between two sand wedges. Harpoons may also come in handy to dodge them by clinging to the sides of the stage.
