Dynamite is an explosive ability block in Build A Boat For Treasure.
Obtaining[]
Dynamite can be purchased in the Shop for 20 Gold per block.
Former methods[]
Dynamite was originally obtainable as part of the PVP Pack prior to its removal on 01/26/2024.
Functionality[]
It explodes on impact, destroying all blocks and flinging players in a 6-stud area (the same size as TNT). While PVP Mode is enabled, the Dynamite will also explode upon collision with other players' builds, making it useful for combat. Alternatively, Dynamite may be manually detonated by the Lever, Button, Pilot Seat, and Car Seat. A Fire Potion will also ignite it. Like all cannons, igniting Dynamite will also ignite nearby TNT.
Dynamite automatically connects to the nearest Switch, which can make it difficult to work with in technical builds.

- The model was made long before its release.
- The Dynamite block's name was changed from "Things of Dynamite" to "Bundles of Dynamite", then finally "Dynamite."
- A well placed Dynamite can fling the player more than 300 blocks away.
- When launched at high speeds, Dynamite can sometimes bounce off of objects before it can detonate, thus dealing no damage.
