The Camera is an ability block in Build A Boat For Treasure introduced in the Christmas 2020 event.

Obtaining

It is currently purchasable in the Shop for 85 Gold.

Former methods

It was originally obtained from the Blue Gift, which opened on 12/25/2020.

Appearance

It looks like a stereotypical CCTV camera. It has a GUI when using it. It shows crosshairs and a red light to show it is on and an exit button to go back to the characters default view. The crosshairs can be turned off with the Property tool.

Functionality

Camera view

While operating the camera, players can change their viewpoint to a location entirely separate from their avatar. It can be used by clicking on it, using a lever, a button, or a keybind if the player is in a Car Seat or Pilot Seat.

Unlike the Dome Camera, it can only look in one direction.
