The TNT is a block in Build A Boat For Treasure. It is not unlocked by a Chest, but through having the rank Royal Member in Chillz Studios to unlock 4, using Codes, obtaining Lava Eggs in the Easter 2020 update, or buying the PVP Pack for 550 Gold to unlock 5 per pack. Upon being destroyed by rocks or another explosion, it will explode, damaging the player and their boat. The explosion does 20 damage to the surrounding blocks. It cannot be triggered by the Lever, Button, or clicking it.
After 01/26/24, having the rank Royal Member in Chillz Studios is the only way to unlock it.
Uses[]
- Create a ramp at the edge of the Building Space and let TNT blocks roll down it continuously until the obstacles ahead are destroyed before launching the boat.
- Attach a TNT barrel and a Thruster to a Wooden Trapdoor, then when another boat is near, close the trapdoor and activate the Thruster, so the TNT explodes right next to the boat and damages it.
- TNT's collisions go further down on the vertical axis more than the horizontal axis and past the mesh. So if the player were to place TNT on the bottom of the boat, it would be visually floating.
- Can be used to clear a set of Obstacles without creating lag.
Trivia[]
- Using one TNT barrel and any type of Thruster, a missile can be created. Using the block duplication glitch, many more TNT can be saved in a slot than what was intended, in essence creating a missile barrage.
- Using all TNT available and а ship with movement, the player can create a small but such a harmful device for other players which can be controlled and explode. This would be considered as a Kamikaze Strike since the player would be sacrificing themselves to inflict damage or destroy the target.
- Another example would utilize how Black Walls explode blocks when the player crosses it with blocks attached to the player's avatar, the player can land on another players boat this way with TNT attached and damage the other player's boat with the most efficiency.
- TNT can break any type of Chest Block.
- The codes "code fission", "leescode", "7explosive", "egg hatching", and "Last Two" rewarded TNT, all of which are expired. If all codes were used and a person had the Royal Member rank, the total TNT would add up to 24 without buying any.
- When the Mystery block is activated and turns white, TNT spawns and explodes on ground contact, regardless of whether or not the player has obtained TNT. Controlling where the TNT lands when spawning means the player can create a randomized time bomb.
- TNT can explode by the Fire potion and the Hand cannon.
